From Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be picked up. All of your questions about your future safari will be addressed by our experts, and they will also give you a briefing. After that, you’ll be driven to the Hotel, where you’ll be staying.
- Meals: Breakfast.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
We will pick you up from the Kibo Palace Hotel after breakfast and drive you to Tarangire National Park. The amazing baobab trees, often known as the Tree of Life for its nearly legendary abilities that certain cultures attach to it, and the enormous herds of elephants make up one of Tanzania’s largest national parks, which is located in the Manyara region. The Tarangire River, which runs through this park year-round and is the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons, is its most notable feature.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
We will travel to Lake Manyara National Park after breakfast. Ernest Hemingway once called this beautiful lake “the loveliest I had seen in Africa.” This is one of the most varied reserves in the nation and offers a small-game viewing circuit. Two-thirds of the park is covered by Lake Manyara, with the Great Rift Valley escarpment serving as its backdrop.
Manyara is home to more than 400 different bird species, including hundreds of pink-hued flamingos that are perpetually migrating as well as other sizable waterbirds like pelicans, cormorants, and storks.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Guests may stay at Campsite/Lodge/Hotel.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park (Ndutu Area)
After breakfast, we will go to the Ndutu area in the southern Serengeti eco-Ngorongoro system’s conservation area. Like most other rift lakes, Lake Ndutu has alkaline water, but it is nevertheless potable and is devoured by a variety of local fauna.
In the Ndutu region, we will go on a game drive in the late afternoon. The short-grass plains typically host the majority of the wildebeest migration from December to April. Elephants, birds, and other local game are frequently present in large numbers in the area.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Guests may stay at Campsite/Lodge/Hotel.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park (Ndutu Area) – Serengeti National Park (Seronera)
After breakfast, you’ll go on a full-day game drive in the Ndutu region, where you’ll see a wide variety of different habitats such swamps, forests, soda lakes, and the renowned Serengeti short grass plains. You will see herds of zebras and wildebeests, particularly during a brief period beginning in February and lasting for about 3 weeks, when the bulk of the wildebeest give birth.
Little cover is offered by the sea of grass, and a variety of predators have an easy time snatching up the young. After three days of birth, wildebeest calves are often strong enough to keep up with the herd and can begin running.
We’ll leave for Serengeti National Park in the afternoon.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Guests may stay at Campsite/Lodge/Hotel.
Day 6: Serengeti National Park (Seronera)
We’ll start our day of wildlife drives in the woods after breakfast, following the Great Migration’s routes. You will learn fascinating details about this well-known occasion, which elevated Tanzania to the top safari destination in Africa, from our knowledgeable driving tour guide.
Over 200,000 zebras live in the Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles accompany the wildebeest on their migration to new grazing. As you might have imagined African wildlife to sound, listen to the exotic sounds of more than 6 million hooves pounding the Serengeti’s vast grasslands.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Guests may stay at Campsite/Lodge/Hotel.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, we’ll drive to the well-known Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From here, we will make our way down to the crater’s 600-meter depth to observe a variety of species.
The Ngorongoro National Park sustains a wide range of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, and enormous African elephants among others, thanks to its year-round water supply and food.
The abundance of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the notoriously elusive leopard, which can only be seen with a trained eye, is what makes this attraction particularly well-known. We’ll also go to Lake Magadi, which is one of the crater’s principal attractions and is a sizable but shallow alkaline lake in the southwest corner. This lake is frequently home to several flamingos, hippos, and other aquatic fowl.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Guests may stay at Campsite/Lodge/Hotel.
Day 8: Mto Wa Mbu – Arusha
We’ll proceed to Mto Wa Mbu for a morning cultural tour and walking safari after breakfast. We’ll enjoy a tasty local lunch while admiring the breathtaking scenery all around us. For an additional fee, a mountain biking activity can be organized.
We’ll drive back to Arusha or the airport in the afternoon so you can catch your flight home.
